Responsibility
- Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in Industrial Engineering, including core topics such as operations research, manufacturing systems, production planning, quality management, and systems optimization.
- Develop, update, and align course syllabi, assessments, and learning outcomes with program goals and accreditation standards.
- Supervise undergraduate capstone projects, research projects, and student teams; provide guidance and feedback.
- Mentor students, advise on academic plans, and support career development through internships and industry projects.
- Lead and participate in applied research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, present at conferences, and seek external funding where possible.
- Collaborate with industry partners to create internship opportunities, case studies, and real-world projects that enhance learning.
- Contribute to program assessment, accreditation processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engage in service to the university and participate in committees, while promoting inclusive education.
Qualification
- Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field; PhD is preferred.
- Demonstrated university teaching experience with evidence of effective instruction and student mentoring.
- Strong knowledge of operations research, production planning, supply chain management, quality control, and manufacturing systems.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB, R) and simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic) is desirable.
- Ability to teach in English (and Indonesian where applicable) and to develop online/hybrid learning materials.
- Track record of research publications or an active research agenda; ability to secure external funding is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills; commitment to student success.
- Willingness to engage with industry partners and participate in curriculum development and accreditation activities.
