Responsibility
- Lead and implement the organisation's industrial relations strategy across multiple sites.
- Manage collective bargaining negotiations and maintenance of enterprise agreements.
- Provide strategic advisory support to executives and site leaders on IR and workplace relations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, awards, and regulatory changes.
- Develop and deliver conflict resolution, grievance handling, and dispute resolution programs.
- Prepare reporting for senior leadership and board on industrial relations performance and risks.
- Collaborate with HR, safety, and operations to align workforce planning with IR requirements.
- Lead training programs on policies, procedures, and compliance for managers.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial relations experience in a multi-site or manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation and bargaining skills with a track record of successful outcomes.
- In-depth knowledge of applicable labor laws, awards, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Experience with policy development, internal investigations, and workplace investigations.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CIR, SHRM-IR) are advantageous.
