Responsibility
- Develop and implement industrial relations strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Advise management on employment laws, bargaining agreements, and labor standards.
- Facilitate negotiation processes with unions and employee representatives.
- Resolve complex workplace disputes through effective mediation and conflict resolution techniques.
- Monitor compliance with industrial regulations and company policies.
- Design and deliver training programs on best industrial relations practices.
- Report on IR trends and recommend proactive measures to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law, or related field.
- 5+ years of proven industrial relations experience within a manufacturing or large-scale organization.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian employment law and modern awards system.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively under pressure.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
