Responsibility

  • Lead and manage all industrial relations activities, including dispute resolution and grievance handling across multiple sites.
  • Oversee collective bargaining processes and negotiations with labor unions to secure favorable terms and sustainable outcomes.
  • Develop and implement labor policies, procedures, and communication plans aligned with legal requirements and company values.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align IR strategy with business objectives, workforce planning, and operational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws; monitor regulatory changes and advise on risk and mitigation strategies.
  • Coach and train managers on IR issues, performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Analyze HR metrics and IR data to identify trends, inform decision-making, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, or related field; advanced degree or IR certification preferred.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of industrial relations or HR in manufacturing or unionized settings.
