In this role, you will be responsible for providing sterile and serviceable surgical instruments and equipment to operating theatres and procedural rooms, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
Responsibility
- Inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
- Prepare operating theatres and procedural rooms with necessary supplies
- Maintain inventory of surgical instruments and equipment
- Adhere to guidelines for infection control and sterilization processes
- Assist in the training of new staff on instrument handling techniques
Qualification
- Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
