As an Intern – Mortgage & Financial Advisor, you'll work closely with seasoned professionals, learning how to assess client needs, explain loan options, and support the end-to-end client journey—from initial inquiry to documentation and closing. You'll receive structured training, ongoing coaching, and access to resources that build practical skills in financial advisory, negotiation, and client communication. Responsibility
- Assist in client servicing, addressing inquiries, and scheduling appointments to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Support recruitment and marketing activities, including coordinating events, candidate screenings, and presentations.
- Attend team meetings and client presentations to gain exposure to mortgage products and financial planning processes.
- Collect, organize, and verify client information while maintaining data privacy and confidentiality.
- Prepare loan illustrations, product summaries, and basic financial planning materials for client discussions.
- Assist in documenting communications and maintaining accurate records in the CRM and filing systems.
- Research market trends and product offerings to support senior advisors with informed recommendations.
- Engage in company training sessions and practical assignments to accelerate learning and professional growth.
Qualification
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Malay, with the ability to present information clearly.
- Customer-service oriented with a proactive and professional attitude.
- Basic understanding of banking, mortgages, or financial planning is a plus; willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM or data-entry tasks.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work part-time in Klang/Port Klang and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with integrity and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
