We are seeking a highly skilled Interpreter to join our premium language services team in Singapore. You will deliver top-tier consecutive and simultaneous interpretation for medical, legal, corporate, and conference settings. Responsibility
- Provide accurate consecutive and simultaneous interpretation across medical, legal, corporate, and conference contexts.
- Prepare glossaries, term bases, and briefing notes for assigned assignments to ensure consistency.
- Set up and operate interpretation equipment; coordinate with event staff and clients to ensure smooth delivery.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics and industry standards.
- Adapt to diverse subject matter, terminology, and cultural nuances while preserving meaning and tone.
- Deliver post-session debriefs and provide feedback to clients for continuous improvement.
Qualification
- Native or fluent in English with proficiency in at least two other languages; excellent speaking and listening skills.
- Certification or degree in interpretation or translation; AIIC/NAD or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years of interpretation experience across at least two sectors (medical, legal, conference).
- Strong memory, note-taking, and analytical abilities; ability to work under pressure.
- Familiarity with interpretation equipment and basic troubleshooting; ability to set up booths or remote interpreting platforms.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity; willingness to travel as required.
