NovaInterpret Solutions is seeking experienced interpreters to join our Toronto team. This role offers on-site, remote, and hybrid interpretation opportunities across medical, legal, corporate, and conference settings. You will provide outstanding consecutive and simultaneous interpretation with a focus on accuracy, cultural nuance, and confidentiality.
Ideal candidates are native English speakers with fluent proficiency in at least two additional languages and a proven track record in high-stakes environments. Certification or credentials from recognized bodies are a plus.

Responsibility
- Provide accurate consecutive interpretation for meetings, medical appointments, court hearings, and conferences in English and at least two other languages.
- Deliver high-quality simultaneous interpretation at large events and remote sessions using standard interpretation equipment.
- Collaborate with clients and terminology teams to prepare glossaries and ensure correct subject-matter terminology.
- Manage on-site equipment setup, sound checks, and technician liaison; maintain professional booth etiquette.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics and codes of conduct.
- Maintain personal glossary databases, memory aids, and adaptive note-taking strategies.
- Provide post-assignment summaries and feedback to clients and internal teams.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in interpretation, linguistics, translation studies, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional interpretation experience in medical, legal, or conference settings.
- Fluency in English plus at least two additional languages; professional interpreting credentials preferred.
- Excellent listening, concentration, memory, and note-taking skills; ability to perform under pressure.
- Proficiency with interpretation equipment and remote interpreting platforms; basic IT literacy.
- Strong client-facing communication, cultural sensitivity, and ethical judgment.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
