Responsibility
- Design and deliver engaging IT lectures, workshops, and tutorials across various subjects within Information Technology.
- Develop, assess, and update curriculum content to ensure alignment with current industry standards and technological trends.
- Provide academic guidance, mentorship, and support to students to promote their educational and professional development.
- Evaluate student progress through assignments, examinations, and practical projects, offering constructive feedback.
- Participate in faculty meetings, departmental activities, and professional development opportunities.
- Engage in ongoing research, innovation, and industry collaboration to ensure teaching relevance.
- Contribute to the organization and supervision of student projects, internships, and IT-related events.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and administrative documentation as required.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. (PhD is an advantage)
- Previous teaching, lecturing, or training experience in a higher education environment is highly preferred.
- Strong foundational knowledge in IT subjects such as Programming, Networking, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, or Software Engineering.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability to engage, inspire, and motivate students.
- Up-to-date with current trends and advancements in Information Technology.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional certifications in IT (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are advantageous.
