Join Dwi Cermat Indonesia, a leading gadget brand distributor in Indonesia. We are seeking a proactive Key Account Assistant Manager to drive growth in the gadget category across key retail partners in Jakarta and beyond.
The role focuses on developing and executing brand development strategies for the gadget category based on market trends, consumer insights, and business priorities. You will collaborate with sales, marketing, product and supply chain teams to ensure consistent brand execution, maximize share of shelf, and deliver campaigns that resonate with shoppers. You will manage relationships with top retailers, monitor performance, and translate data into actionable plans that lift sales, gross margin, and brand equity.
As a core member of the sales organization you will own account plans, negotiate commercial terms, and lead initiatives from ideation through execution. You should be comfortable analyzing market dynamics, building business cases, and presenting updates to senior leadership. This role offers growth in a fast paced consumer electronics environment and the opportunity to influence brand success across multiple channels.
Responsibility
- Develop and implement brand development strategies for the gadget category based on market trends and business priorities.
- Manage and nurture relationships with key retail partners to secure optimal placement, promotions, and shelf share.
- Drive category growth by planning and executing trade marketing campaigns, pricing actions, and in store activations.
- Monitor performance metrics such as sell through, GMROI, and share of shelf; prepare monthly sales reviews and forecasts.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and supply chain teams to ensure brand guidelines and timely product launches across channels.
- Prepare and present business cases and partnership proposals to senior management; negotiate terms and contracts with retailers.
- Lead by example with a proactive coaching mindset and support for junior team members; foster a high performance sales culture.
- Ensure compliance with retailer requirements and brand standards to maximize revenue and brand equity.
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in key account management or sales in consumer electronics or consumer goods
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and build business cases
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and travel as required
- Fluent in Indonesian; English proficiency is preferred
- Self motivated, proactive, and able to adapt in a fast paced environment
