Responsibility
- Conduct precise field surveys using advanced GPS, robotic total stations, and UAV technology.
- Prepare and review boundary, topographic, and construction staking surveys.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction managers for project success.
- Analyze legal documents, plats, and land titles for boundary determinations.
- Process and interpret raw field data in CAD and GIS platforms.
- Maintain accurate field notes, records, and digital files in compliance with standards.
- Oversee and mentor junior surveying staff on best practices and safety.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Colorado, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in land surveying (field and office).
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and GIS software.
- Strong understanding of boundary law and ALTA/NSPS standards.
- Excellent communication, analytic, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.
