Responsibility
- Lead and oversee field survey teams on commercial, residential, and infrastructural projects.
- Conduct boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS land title, and construction staking surveys.
- Analyze survey data to produce accurate site plans, maps, and reports.
- Interpret technical drawings and legal documents for project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with state and local surveying regulations and standards.
- Utilize advanced surveying instruments, drones, and GPS technology.
- Mentor junior staff and review their deliverables for precision and quality.
- Collaborate with civil engineers, contractors, and clients to achieve project goals.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or Civil Engineering.
- Registered Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Colorado, or ability to obtain.
- 7+ years of progressive land surveying experience.
- Expertise with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble/Leica GPS, and total stations.
- Strong leadership, organization, and client communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of state and federal land surveying laws.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Colorado.
