Responsibility
- Plan, direct, and coordinate all phases of road construction projects from conception through completion.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables, ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.
- Lead and motivate construction teams and subcontractors, fostering high performance and on-site safety.
- Liaise with clients, engineers, regulatory authorities, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Review engineering plans, permits, and specifications for accuracy and feasibility.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues or delays, balancing project timelines with budget controls.
- Monitor and communicate project progress, preparing regular reports for stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality on all roadwork sites.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing road/highway construction projects.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale infrastructure works to successful completion.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, safety requirements, and local permitting processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, MS Project).
- PMP certification or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
