Responsibility
- Lead and manage all phases of road construction projects from kickoff to completion.
- Develop and track project budgets, timelines, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure aligned execution.
- Conduct on-site inspections to monitor work progress and enforce safety standards.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders and clients.
- Review and approve project documentation, change orders, and compliance reports.
- Ensure all construction adheres to local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing large-scale road or highway construction projects.
- Proven knowledge of DOT standards, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites across the Dallas region.
