TerraPave Construction Co. is seeking a dynamic Road Construction Project Manager to lead large-scale highway, street, and bridge initiatives in the Portland metro area. You will coordinate field operations, subcontractors, quality control, and safety programs to deliver projects on schedule and within budget while meeting stringent quality standards.

Responsibility
- Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of road construction projects from mobilization to closeout.
- Direct field crews, subcontractors, equipment usage, materials management, and QA/QC processes.
- Coordinate with public agencies, inspectors, and stakeholders to secure permits and approvals.
- Administer budgets, change orders, procurement, and cost control with transparent reporting.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, daily logs, and progress reporting for audits and clients.
- Implement and enforce site safety plans, toolbox talks, and OSHA/DOT compliance across all phases.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect schedule and budget.
- Foster a collaborative environment that drives high-quality workmanship and client satisfaction.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent field experience).
- Minimum 5 years of road construction project management or site supervision experience.
- Strong knowledge of DOT standards, earthworks, pavement design, and traffic control.
- Proven track record delivering multi-million-dollar road projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in project management software (MS Project, Procore, Primavera) and AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
- Active OSHA 30-hour certification and a valid driver’s license; ability to pass background and drug screening.
- Ability to read plans, specifications, and contract documents with precision and attention to detail.
