Responsibility
- Lead, coordinate, and supervise all phases of road construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and contract compliance for optimal workflow and efficiency.
- Interface with clients, government officials, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project alignment with local regulations and quality standards.
- Monitor budgets, prepare progress reports, and manage project changes to maintain profitability.
- Conduct safety meetings and enforce adherence to OSHA and company safety policies on-site.
- Manage risk assessment, problem-solving, incident reporting, and resolution processes.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in road or highway construction project management.
- Strong knowledge of DOT standards, local municipal requirements, and contract management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
- PMP or equivalent certification highly preferred.
