Join a premier surveying firm delivering precise land and civil projects across the Denver metropolitan area. We seek a diligent Land Surveyor to contribute to boundary analyses, topographic surveys, and construction stakeouts. You will work with a multidisciplinary team using modern tools to translate client needs into accurate, actionable survey data. Excellent benefits, ongoing training, and a culture that values accuracy and safety.

As a member of our team, you will engage directly with clients, plan fieldwork, supervise survey crews, and ensure QA/QC of all deliverables. If you are passionate about accuracy, scalable surveying solutions, and career growth, this role is for you.

Responsibility

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, and construction surveys in alignment with project goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead field operations: setup control networks, GPS surveys, data collection, stakeouts, and site verification with precision and safety.
  • Utilize total stations, GPS/GNSS, data collectors, and field-to-finish workflows to produce reliable measurements.
  • Provide daily field notes, survey sketches, and field reports; ensure data integrity and QA/QC for all deliverables.
  • Supervise survey crews, manage schedules, and train junior staff on techniques, safety, and equipment usage.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret plans and resolve locate issues.
  • Prepare and review boundary calculations, legal descriptions, and mapping outputs for submittals and easement analyses.
  • Maintain compliance with local and state surveying standards, safety protocols, and documentation practices.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Professional License preferred).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on land surveying experience, with emphasis on boundary and construction surveys.
  • Proficiency with total station, GNSS/GPS, robotic systems, and field data collection software (e.g., Carlson, TopoDOT, Civil 3D).
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills; experience with boundary law and legal descriptions is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client-facing abilities; capable of leading field teams and collaborating with cross-functional groups.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and accuracy; ability to manage multiple projects and tight timelines.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record; ability to travel to job sites as needed.
