Join Pulse Dance Collective in New York City as a Lead Dance Instructor and Choreographer. We seek a dynamic, versatile artist to guide technique, create works, and mentor dancers.

Responsibility
- Lead and adapt technique classes across levels, ensuring safe progression and proper alignment.
- Choreograph original works for performances and community showcases.
- Plan and run rehearsal schedules, track progress, and coordinate with production teams.
- Collaborate with the artistic director on programming and season planning.
- Mentor dancers through feedback, goal setting, and creative development.
- Maintain studio safety, warmups, and efficient class management.
- Lead auditions and casting, building diverse, inclusive casts.
- Represent the company at events, shows, and marketing shoots.
Qualification
- Minimum 6 years of professional dance experience with strong technique in at least two styles.
- Proven choreography experience with a portfolio of works.
- Excellent teaching and communication skills; ability to adapt to different levels.
- Experience with casting, rehearsals, and production coordination.
- Strong knowledge of body mechanics, alignment, and injury prevention.
- Willingness to travel and work evenings or weekends as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Dance or related field; MFA preferred.
- Leadership, collaboration, and mentorship abilities.
