Join Luxe Studio Interiors, a premium design studio crafting high-end residential spaces across New York City and beyond. We are seeking a Lead Interior Designer who can translate clients' aspirations into inspiring, functional environments. You will lead project design from concept through construction administration, collaborate with architects and vendors, and mentor a growing team of junior designers.

What you’ll do: develop design concepts, create schematic design and design development packages, manage client communications, oversee FF&E selections, coordinate with contractors, and ensure projects meet budget, schedule, and code requirements.

Responsibility

  • Lead the design process for luxury residential projects from concept to construction administration.
  • Develop concepts, schemes, and design systems that align with client vision and budget.
  • Prepare and present design presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Oversee FF&E selection, finishes, and detailing for all spaces.
  • Manage project documentation, schedules, and budgets; monitor change orders and RFI processes.
  • Mentor junior designers, review work, and foster a collaborative design culture.

Qualification

  • Minimum 7+ years of interior design experience in luxury residential or hospitality sectors.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-end residential environments and details.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and client-relations skills.
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction administration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience leading teams and managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Certification such as NCIDQ or LEED is a plus.
