Join Luxe Studio Interiors, a premium design studio in New York City, as our Lead Interior Designer. You will lead high-end residential and commercial projects, shaping spaces with timeless elegance and practical function.
We value design excellence, collaboration, and a client-focused approach. You will mentor junior designers, coordinate with contractors, and ensure delivery from concept to completion.
Responsibility
- Lead the design process from programming to schematic design, design development, and administration.
- Develop concept boards, 3D renderings, and presentation materials for clients.
- Coordinate with architecture, engineering, and project teams to ensure program compliance and on-time delivery.
- Oversee space planning, materials, finishes, lighting, and FF&E procurement.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and change orders.
- Mentor and guide junior designers and interns, fostering a collaborative studio culture.
- Engage with clients to understand goals, present design proposals, and manage expectations.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or related field; NCIDQ certification preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of professional interior design experience on high-end residential or commercial projects.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong conceptual design skills, space planning, and detailed documentation.
- Excellent client communication, project management, and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, and FF&E specification.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and budgets.
