As a Senior Interior Designer, you will mentor junior designers, develop concept boards, manage client relationships, and ensure design integrity, timelines, and budgets are met. The role blends strategic planning with hands-on design, 3D visualization, and coordination with contractors.

Responsibility

  • Lead concept development and space planning for residential and boutique commercial projects from briefing to occupied spaces.
  • Create and present design concepts, mood boards, material palettes, and 3D visualizations to clients.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and procurement in collaboration with project managers.
  • Oversee documentation sets, design drawings, specifications, and RFIs to ensure construction accuracy.
  • Mentor junior designers, supervise CAD/BIM work, and ensure design quality across projects.
  • Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and contractors to align design intent with on-site execution.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality control and adherence to design standards.
  • Uphold sustainability and accessibility considerations in all design decisions.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field from an accredited program.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional interior design experience with a strong portfolio of high-end residential and boutique commercial projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar design software; expert in 3D rendering and visualization.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, materials, finishes, and procurement processes.
  • Excellent presentation and client management skills with a proven ability to lead projects and collaborate across teams.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Licensing or certification (NCIDQ, LEED GA) is a plus.
