We are seeking a talented Lead Interior Designer to guide concept development, oversee documentation, and lead client presentations from concept through construction.

What you’ll do:
- Lead the design process for projects across luxury residential and boutique commercial sectors, from concept to construction.
- Develop compelling design concepts, floor plans, elevations, materials orders, and 3D visualizations.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and consultants to produce complete construction documents.
- Present design intent to clients, develop revisions, and manage client expectations with diplomacy and professionalism.
- Ensure adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality standards while maintaining design integrity.
- Mentor junior designers, review team work, and foster a collaborative design culture.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to select finishes, furnishings, lighting, and accessories that meet performance criteria.
- Support business development through accuracy-driven proposals and client relationships.
Responsibility
- Lead design exploration and presentation for high-end spaces, ensuring client satisfaction and design excellence.
- Create comprehensive development packages — concept boards, floor plans, sections, and 3D renders.
- Manage design communications with clients, consultants, and vendors to ensure alignment and on-time delivery.
- Develop and supervise construction documentation sets, specifications, and schedules.
- Mentor and supervise junior designers, coordinating their tasks and reviews.
- Oversee procurement coordination, FF&E selection, and vendor negotiations.
- Ensure project compliance with codes, sustainability standards, and brand guidelines.
- Contribute to studio process improvements and ongoing marketing efforts.
Qualification
- Minimum 7 years of interior design experience with a strong portfolio in luxury residential and/or boutique commercial interiors.
- Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign; rendering skills are a plus.
- Strong hand-drawing, concept development, space planning, and 3D visualization abilities.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and client-relations skills; ability to lead client meetings.
- Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, and vendors; knowledge of construction documentation and procurement.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture; professional licensure or NCIDQ certification is a plus.
- Portfolio demonstrating design problem solving, materiality, and finish selections.
