Elevate Wellness Studio, a premium boutique fitness studio in New York City, is seeking a dedicated Lead Personal Trainer to join our dynamic team. You will empower clients to achieve transformative results through personalized programming, exceptional coaching, and a client-focused approach.

As a Lead Personal Trainer, you will design individualized fitness plans, conduct initial assessments, monitor progress, and lead both 1:1 and small-group sessions. You will collaborate with a small wellness team to deliver a holistic client experience.

Responsibility

  • Design and deliver personalized training programs tailored to client goals, abilities, and timelines.
  • Perform comprehensive initial and ongoing fitness assessments, tracking progress with data-driven metrics.
  • Coach clients with correct technique and movement patterns to maximize results and minimize injury risk.
  • Lead 1:1 sessions and small-group (2–4 clients) classes with energy, structure, and motivation.
  • Monitor client adherence, adjust plans, and provide timely feedback and accountability.
  • Maintain equipment safety, cleanliness, and facility standards to ensure an optimal client experience.
  • Collaborate with nutrition and wellness teammates to support holistic client outcomes and retention.

Qualification

  • Current ACSM, NASM, ACE, or NSCA certification (or equivalent).
  • CPR/AED certification and a valid fitness credential where required.
  • 3+ years of hands-on personal training experience with a diverse client base.
  • Proven ability to design scalable programs for goals from fat loss to performance enhancement.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and client relationship management skills.
  • Available to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
  • Strong business-minded approach with emphasis on client retention and referrals.
