Join Lumen Studio as a Lead Photographer and elevate brands through compelling imagery. Based in Seattle, you will shape visual narratives across brand campaigns, editorial shoots, and on-location projects.
As a senior contributor, you will partner with art directors, designers, stylists, and clients to translate creative concepts into world-class photographs. You’ll lead pre-production planning, direct talent, and oversee post-production to ensure delivered images meet brand standards.

Responsibility
- Conceptualize and execute brand and editorial photography across studio and on-location shoots.
- Lead pre-production planning, shot lists, mood boards, and collaboration with art directors and stylists.
- Direct models and participants, optimize posing, lighting, and composition for strong storytelling.
- Manage lighting setups, camera systems, and equipment; maintain studio safety and workflow.
- Oversee post-production, including color grading and retouching to align with brand guidelines.
- Deliver final images with clear delivery timelines and high-quality resolution across multiple formats.
- Mentor junior photographers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to raise creative standards.
Qualification
- Minimum 5 years of professional photography experience, with a strong portfolio in brand, fashion, or editorial work.
- Proficiency with studio lighting, on-location setups, and camera systems (DSLR/mirrorless).
- Expertise in post-production tools (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One).
- Strong eye for color, composition, and storytelling; ability to translate concepts into visual narratives.
- Excellent communication, project management, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead shoots, manage timelines, and respond to client feedback.
- Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or related field is preferred.
