Responsibility
- Deliver engaging lectures and seminars in assigned courses, aligning instruction with program outcomes.
- Design, update, and assess course syllabi, learning objectives, and assessment strategies.
- Create inclusive learning environments that support diverse student populations and learning styles.
- Employ innovative teaching methods and relevant instructional technologies to enhance learning.
- Assess student performance, provide timely feedback, and support student academic development.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students, fostering their professional growth.
- Collaborate with faculty on curriculum development, program reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Engage in scholarly activity, contribute to departmental services, and participate in accreditation and assessment efforts.
Qualification
- Doctoral degree in a relevant field OR Master’s degree with substantial teaching experience and demonstrated expertise.
- Proven university-level teaching experience with a track record of student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to teach a diverse student body and apply inclusive teaching practices.
- Experience with online, hybrid, or accelerated instructional formats and familiarity with learning management systems.
- Active scholarly engagement and/or professional experience with opportunities to publish or present.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills; ability to contribute to a collegial department culture.
