SEGi College Kuala Lumpur invites applications for a dynamic and experienced individual to join as a Lecturer cum Programme Leader in the School of IT. This pivotal role combines front line teaching with strategic curriculum leadership to shape the next generation of IT professionals in Malaysia. You will deliver engaging instruction across undergraduate and postgraduate IT programs, design and map curricula to national standards, and lead program development initiatives that align with industry needs and digital transformation trends.
As Programme Leader, you will collaborate with faculty, industry partners, and accreditation bodies to ensure rigorous assessment, continuous improvement, and excellent student outcomes. You will mentor teachers, oversee course scheduling, supervise capstone projects, and drive initiatives that enhance learner success, employability, and research activity within the School of IT.

Responsibility
- Deliver high quality IT modules and supervise practical sessions, labs, and project based learning for undergraduate and graduate programs.
- Lead curriculum development mapping and outcomes based assessment to align with MQA standards and industry needs.
- Coordinate the School of IT programs as Programme Leader including timetable planning, resource management, and student progression monitoring.
- Drive quality assurance activities, oversee course reviews, and implement data driven improvements to teaching and learning.
- Engage with industry partners to secure internships, guest lectures, and collaborative research projects.
- Mentor and develop faculty, support teaching excellence initiatives, and contribute to scholarly activities such as publications and conference presentations.
- Support recruitment and student success initiatives, promote inclusive learning, and ensure compliance with SEGi policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualification
- Master degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field; PhD preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of higher education teaching or industry experience in IT/Computer Science.
- Proven track record in curriculum development, programme leadership, and accreditation processes such as MQA.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to coordinate cross functional teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with ability to engage diverse student populations.
- Proficiency with learning management systems and e learning tools; data driven assessment experience.
- Commitment to academic integrity, research activity, and lifelong learning; ability to work in a multicultural Malaysian context.
