Prestige Education Partners is seeking a dynamic Higher Education Lecturer to join a leading research university in Cambridge, MA. The ideal candidate will design and deliver engaging undergraduate and graduate courses, mentor students, and contribute to curriculum development. This is a full-time, on-campus role with opportunities for research involvement and service to the university community.
About the role: You will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, developing innovative course materials, and collaborating with faculty across departments to enhance program outcomes. The position offers a path to academic leadership through curriculum committees, accreditation work, and scholarly activity.
Responsibility
- Deliver high-quality instruction to undergraduate and graduate students in assigned courses with clear learning outcomes and engaging pedagogy.
- Develop, update, and align syllabi, assessments, and learning resources with program goals and accreditation standards.
- Employ inclusive teaching practices and diverse instructional methods to support student success across varied backgrounds and learning styles.
- Mentor and supervise student research projects, theses, internships, and capstone experiences.
- Assess student performance, provide timely and constructive feedback, and maintain accurate grade records.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff on curriculum design, program development, and interdisciplinary initiatives.
- Participate in departmental service, committees, and outreach activities to strengthen the academic community.
Qualification
- Doctoral degree in a relevant field or terminal degree; PhD candidates near completion with demonstrated teaching experience will be considered.
- Proven university-level teaching experience with a strong teaching portfolio and references.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, public speaking, and presentation skills.
- Experience in curriculum design, course development, and assessment strategies.
- Commitment to inclusive pedagogy, DEI principles, and supporting diverse student populations.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and contribute to interdisciplinary programs.
- Proficiency with educational technology and learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard, Zoom).
