Responsibility
- Deliver engaging lectures and seminars in assigned courses, including online and hybrid formats.
- Design, revise, and map syllabi, learning outcomes, and assessment strategies to program standards.
- Develop inclusive instructional materials and adopt universal design for learning to support a diverse student body.
- Advise undergraduate and graduate students, supervise capstone projects, and provide constructive feedback.
- Engage in scholarly activity or professional practice; present findings and publish where appropriate.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff on curriculum development, program assessment, and accreditation processes.
- Participate in service duties, attend departmental meetings, and contribute to student success initiatives.
Qualification
- Terminal degree in the relevant field (PhD, EdD, or equivalent) or near completion with clear plan for degree finalization.
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness at undergraduate and/or graduate levels, including teaching philosophy and peer/student feedback.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage diverse learners.
- Experience with online or hybrid instruction and learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Moodle).
- Commitment to inclusive excellence and ability to develop accessible course materials.
- Active scholarly activity, research, or professional practice with ongoing plan for dissemination.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a collegial environment and contribute to program outcomes.
