Responsibility
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in assigned disciplines, including course design and delivery across in-person and online modalities.
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, assessments, and learning outcomes.
- Provide mentorship and academic advising to students; supervise student research projects.
- Engage in service to the department and university, including committee work and program development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary courses and new curricula.
- Assess and report on student learning, using data to inform instructional improvements.
Qualification
- Terminal degree in relevant field (PhD preferred) or equivalent professional/academic experience.
- Minimum 3 years of higher education teaching experience; experience with online and hybrid modalities.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive pedagogy and student success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage diverse student populations.
- Experience with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard) and evidence-based teaching methods.
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills; ability to contribute to curriculum development.
- Scholarly activity or ongoing professional development in teaching (preferred).
