Responsibility
- Deliver engaging lectures and labs for undergraduate and postgraduate data science courses.
- Design, update, and assess course materials aligned with program outcomes.
- Supervise capstone projects, theses, and research practicums.
- Provide timely feedback and support to students to promote academic success.
- Collaborate on curriculum development, learning technology adoption, and assessment strategies.
- Engage in scholarly research and publish in relevant venues.
- Contribute to program accreditation processes and quality assurance.
- Mentor diverse student populations and support inclusive teaching practices.
Qualification
- PhD or doctoral equivalent in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a closely related field.
- Proven track record of teaching in higher education with a passion for student success.
- Strong knowledge of data science, machine learning, statistics, and applied analytics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) such as Moodle and Canvas is preferred.
- Evidence of scholarly activity and peer-reviewed publications is preferred.
- Commitment to inclusive and accessible teaching for diverse student populations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary academic environment.
