Responsibility
- Deliver engaging lectures and seminars to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Design, update, and align curricula and assessment methods with program outcomes.
- Lead tutorials and laboratory sessions, fostering active learning and critical thinking.
- Supervise dissertations and capstone projects, guiding research design and methodology.
- Develop inclusive teaching practices and support diverse learner needs through accessible materials and methods.
- Collaborate with colleagues on course development, accreditation, and program review.
- Assess student work, provide timely feedback, and maintain rigorous academic standards.
- Engage in scholarly activity, contribute to departmental service, and participate in outreach and community engagement.
Qualification
- PhD in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- Significant teaching experience in higher education and a track record of effective student engagement.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with ability to present complex concepts clearly.
- Experience with blended and online learning, including learning management systems and digital assessment tools.
- Ability to design and implement curricula, assessments, and learning outcomes aligned with program goals.
- Commitment to inclusive education, equity, and student success for a diverse learner population.
- Ability to collaborate across teams, contribute to research activity, and participate in academic service.
- Evidence of scholarly activity such as publications, presentations, or funded projects is desirable.
