Northbridge Institute of Humanities invites applications for a full-time Philosophy Lecturer. This appointment supports our mission to foster critical thinking, rigorous inquiry, and ethical reflection across the campus community. The successful candidate will teach a range of philosophy courses for undergraduate majors and non-majors, contribute to graduate seminars, and participate in program development and peer mentoring.

Responsibility
- Deliver engaging undergraduate and graduate courses in philosophy, including ethics, epistemology, and logic.
- Design, revise, and assess curricula to align with program goals and accreditation standards.
- Mentor students, supervise senior theses and capstone projects, and support scholarship activity.
- Engage in scholarly research leading to publications and conference presentations.
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary programs and public philosophy initiatives.
- Participate in service duties such as committee work, student advising, and outreach.
- Incorporate inclusive teaching practices and assess learning outcomes with rigor.
Qualification
- PhD in Philosophy or related field from an accredited program.
- Demonstrated excellence in university teaching with evidence of student-centered pedagogy.
- Strong research record and potential for ongoing publications in reputable venues.
- Experience teaching a diverse range of philosophy topics and ability to design new courses.
- Commitment to inclusivity, accessibility, and equity in higher education.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with online and hybrid teaching modalities and learning management systems.
