Join the Cambridge Institute of Philosophical Studies as a full-time Philosophy Research Fellow. Responsibility
- Plan and execute independent and collaborative research leading to high quality publications in top journals.
- Teach and supervise courses and seminars at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Mentor students, supervise theses, and provide scholarly guidance within the department.
- Contribute to grant development, program planning, and departmental research initiatives.
- Organize and participate in seminars, colloquia, and public philosophy events.
- Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with cognitive science, political theory, and related fields.
Qualification
- PhD in Philosophy or a related field by the start date or equivalent record of achievement and promise.
- Demonstrated scholarly potential with publications and conference participation.
- Proven teaching experience at university level and commitment to inclusive pedagogy.
- Ability to design and deliver rigorous courses in ethics, logic, and epistemology.
- Strong research proposal development and grant-writing skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication, with mentoring aptitude.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and commitment to equitable classroom practices.
