Private Advertiser invites applications for a dynamic Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Clinical Psychologist) to join our education and wellbeing initiatives in Cyberjaya. The successful candidate will deliver evidence-based psychological services to students, staff, and the wider community, while contributing to teaching, supervision, and research in a vibrant higher education environment.
As a key member of our psychology program, you will combine clinical practice with teaching excellence, taking a lead in developing curricula, clinical protocols, and wellbeing programs that support mental health across campus. The role blends direct client work with academic responsibilities, providing opportunities for innovative research, program evaluation, and interprofessional collaboration with colleagues in psychology, education, and other disciplines.

Responsibility
- Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based clinical assessments and provide individual, group, and family-based therapy for students, staff, and community members within a higher education setting.
- Lead, coordinate, and evaluate clinical psychology services, including intake, treatment planning, and outcome measurement.
- Design and deliver psychology teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs; supervise practicum students and clinical placements.
- Develop, implement, and assess mental health programs, workshops, and outreach initiatives to enhance student wellbeing and resilience.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across counseling services, psychiatry, academic departments, and student services to integrate mental health into campus life.
- Engage in research, program evaluation, grant writing, and dissemination of findings through publications and conferences.
- Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance, accreditation activities, and policy development related to mental health services.
- Participate in faculty governance, student recruitment, and initiatives that promote inclusive, culturally responsive education.
Qualification
- Doctorate or equivalent in Clinical Psychology or a psychology-related doctoral degree.
- Full registration or eligibility to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in Malaysia; membership with relevant professional bodies is preferred.
- Demonstrated clinical experience and evidence of teaching or supervision in higher education settings.
- Strong research track record with demonstrated ability to publish and present at conferences.
- Experience supervising practicum interns and coordinating clinical placements.
- Proficiency in evidence-based therapies such as CBT, ACT, DBT, or other validated approaches; commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills; ability to work in a multicultural environment.
