Join Private Advertiser as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Nursing and play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of nurses. A postgraduate qualification and clinical experience in nursing are highly desirable, along with a demonstrated ability to teach across diverse cohorts.
Responsibility
- Deliver and assess high-quality nursing modules for undergraduate and postgraduate programs using evidence-based pedagogy.
- Design and update curriculum and learning outcomes to meet accreditation standards and industry needs.
- Develop, administer, and mark assessments; provide timely feedback; monitor student progress.
- Supervise clinical placements, capstone projects, and student research initiatives; mentor learners.
- Build partnerships with clinical facilities to enhance placement opportunities and practical training.
- Lead or contribute to scholarly activity, publish in peer-reviewed venues, and present at conferences.
- Contribute to program governance, quality assurance, and the adoption of educational technology and online learning.
- Support student wellbeing, academic integrity, and inclusive teaching practices.
Qualification
- Masters in Nursing or Doctorate with a recognized teaching qualification or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in nursing or health sciences or equivalent clinical education
- Demonstrated ability to design and evaluate nursing curricula and assessments
- Strong communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse cohorts
- Proficiency with e-learning platforms and simulation-based teaching
- Active engagement in nursing or health sciences research with publications or conference presentations
- Eligibility for professional nursing registration in Malaysia or equivalent preferred
