Responsibility
- Lead multi-jurisdictional contract review and negotiation for clients across industries.
- Provide strategic legal counsel on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements and IP licensing.
- Advise on data privacy, ESG, antitrust, and competition law considerations as applicable.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify legal risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Mentor junior associates and support business development through thought leadership and client seminars.
Qualification
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; active bar admission in New York or willing to transfer.
- 8+ years of in-house or law firm experience in corporate, regulatory, and contract matters.
- Proven track record negotiating high-stakes agreements with Fortune 500 clients.
- Strong understanding of U.S. securities laws, data privacy regulations, and antitrust considerations.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and negotiation skills; client-facing acumen.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
