Responsibility
- Provide regulatory risk assessments and actionable recommendations across jurisdictions.
- Lead policy drafting, compliance programs, and governance frameworks for clients.
- Review and negotiate complex contracts with emphasis on regulatory exposure and data privacy.
- Conduct due diligence for corporate transactions and integrations.
- Advise clients on sanctions, anti-corruption, and trade compliance issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external counsel to implement controls.
- Deliver training and workshops to client teams on regulatory requirements.
Qualification
- Qualified attorney or in-house counsel with 5+ years of regulatory/compliance experience.
- Strong knowledge of UK and EU regulatory regimes (FCA, GDPR, anti-bribery, etc.).
- Proven track record in contract review, policy drafting, and risk assessment.
- Excellent analytical and legal writing abilities with attention to detail.
- Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills; able to influence at executives.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple engagements.
- Relevant certifications (CCEP, CIPP/E, or equivalent) preferred.
