We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our outpatient program in New York City. The ideal candidate provides comprehensive mental health assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based psychotherapy to a diverse caseload. You will collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and research staff to deliver high-quality care and contribute to program development.

Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments and risk evaluations for adults and, when appropriate, adolescents.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and documented progress.
- Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy (CBT, ACT, IPT) in individual and, where appropriate, group formats.
- Monitor treatment outcomes, adjust plans as needed, and maintain thorough documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other clinicians; participate in case conferences and care coordination.
- Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and referral to additional resources as needed.
- Supervise and mentor psychology interns and trainees; contribute to quality improvement and program development.
- Engage in research initiatives or data collection to support program outcomes and continuous learning.
Qualification
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (PsyD or PhD) from an APA-accredited program; current NY state license or eligibility to obtain licensure within 6 months.
- Minimum 2+ years of post-licensure clinical experience in outpatient mental health settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapies (CBT, ACT, IPT) and experience with adults and/or adolescents.
- Proven ability to conduct intake evaluations, diagnostic formulation, and treatment planning.
- Excellent documentation skills and proficiency with EMR; strong adherence to HIPAA and professional ethics.
- Exceptional communication and collaborative skills; effective in multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with crisis intervention and risk assessment; ability to manage safety concerns calmly and professionally.
