Responsibility
- Provide one-on-one and group counseling for clients facing emotional, behavioral, and psychosocial challenges.
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and referrals to appropriate community resources.
- Advocate for client needs, connecting them with essential services and support systems.
- Maintain detailed documentation in strict accordance with agency and legal standards.
- Lead workshops and educational programs for community awareness and empowerment.
- Participate in ongoing professional training and contribute to program evaluation and improvement initiatives.
- Ensure ethical and culturally competent practice at all times.
Qualification
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- Active LCSW license in California (or eligibility to obtain it upon hire).
- Minimum of 2 years’ clinical social work experience, preferably in an urban setting.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in trauma-informed and client-centered care.
- Solid organizational skills with attention to detail and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with EMR systems and electronic case management software.
- Bilingual in Spanish or Cantonese a plus.
