BrightPath Counseling & Guidance Center is seeking a Licensed Guidance Counselor to support students and clients in our Boston office. You will provide individual and group counseling, develop intervention plans, and collaborate with families, teachers, and community partners to promote well-being and academic success. Responsibility

- Provide individual counseling to students and adults, focusing on academic, career, and personal development. \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and design tailored guidance plans with measurable goals. \n
- Facilitate small group counseling sessions and educational workshops on coping skills, study strategies, and resilience. \n
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and community partners to support holistic student success. \n
- Maintain accurate case notes and progress updates in the electronic health record system. \n
- Offer crisis intervention, safety planning, and referral to appropriate services as needed. \n
- Support college and career planning, including scholarship guidance and college application messaging. \n
Qualification
- \n
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited program. \n
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or School Counselor in Massachusetts, or eligibility for licensure. \n
- Minimum of 2 years of counseling experience in educational, clinical, or related settings. \n
- Strong crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning skills. \n
- Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive practices and working with diverse populations. \n
- Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities. \n
- Experience with college and career planning and familiarity with admissions processes is a plus. \n
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical standards. \n
