This full-time role blends precision, discretion, and customer focus in a fast-paced legal support environment.
As a Notary Public at LA Premier Notary & Legal Support, you will provide accurate document authentication, travel to client sites when needed, and collaborate with attorneys, lenders, and individuals to ensure smooth signings.
Responsibility
- Perform notarial acts (acknowledgments, jurats, oaths, certify copies) in accordance with California Notary Law.
- Verify signer identity using reliable methods and maintain an accurate notary journal with all required details.
- Prepare, handle, and secure notarial documents; ensure proper storage and chain of custody.
- Travel to client locations for mobile signings with punctual and professional service.
- Explain notary procedures to clients and provide clear, compassionate customer service.
- Maintain privacy, security, and ethical standards; stay current on legal changes and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues and legal professionals to complete signings efficiently and accurately.
Qualification
- Active California Notary Public in good standing.
- Minimum 2 years of notarial experience with strong knowledge of California notary statutes.
- Excellent attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities; professional presentation.
- Flexible schedule with capacity to work evenings, weekends, or travel for signings.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Proficiency with digital tools and eNotary platforms if applicable (RON).
- High school diploma or equivalent; willingness to pursue ongoing training and certification.
