We are seeking a reliable Notary Public / Mobile Notary to perform accurate, compliant notarizations, certify signatures, and facilitate loan signings, powers of attorney, and other document authentication needs. As a Notary Public with our team, you will be responsible for on-site notarizations, ensuring identity verification, and maintaining meticulous records in our Notary Journal. Responsibility
- Perform accurate notarial acts in compliance with California notary law and professional ethics.
- Travel to clients for mobile notarizations, including loan signings and remote/online notarizations where permitted.
- Verify signer identity, review documents for completeness, and confirm capacity to sign.
- Prepare and affix notarial certificates, seals, and any required acknowledgments or jurats.
- Maintain meticulous Notary Journal entries and secure handling of confidential information.
- Communicate clearly with clients, lenders, and attorneys; explain documents and procedures with professionalism.
- Manage scheduling, travel logistics, and inventory of notary instruments and supplies.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and stay current with changes in notary laws and procedures.
Qualification
- Active California Notary Public in good standing with a valid commission.
- 2+ years of notary or loan signing experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of California Notary Law, ID verification, and proper notarization procedures.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel within San Francisco Bay Area.
- Proficiency with digital notary platforms, eNotary, and Notary Journal software.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to handle confidential documents.
