We are seeking a meticulous and client-focused Notary Public to join our premium notary services team in San Francisco. This full-time role blends mobile notary visits, in-office signings, and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, adheres to all state laws, and can build trust with clients while maintaining confidentiality.
As a valued member of our notary network, you will facilitate real estate closings, financial signings, estate planning documents, and general notarizations with precision and integrity.
Responsibility
- Perform notarial acts in compliance with California Notary Public statutes, including acknowledgments, jurats, oaths, and copy certifications.
- Verify identity, document authenticity, and proper execution of all signings to prevent fraud.
- Schedule and conduct mobile or in-office appointments, manage travel and calendars efficiently.
- Prepare, review, and organize documents for notarization, ensuring accurate dates, signatures, and journal entries.
- Maintain accurate notary records and comply with bonding, record-keeping, and privacy requirements.
- Deliver exceptional client service by explaining procedures, answering questions, and maintaining discretion.
- Collaborate with title companies, lenders, attorneys, and signing agents to coordinate closings and signings.
- Adhere to company policies and applicable laws, including data security and confidentiality.
Qualification
- Active California Notary Public license in good standing with a valid commission and a $15,000 surety bond.
- Minimum 2 years of notarization or signing experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management abilities.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the Bay Area; valid driver's license and auto insurance.
- Proficiency with notary software and eNotary platforms; familiarity with real estate closings and mortgage documents is a plus.
