Join Prestige Notary & Legal Services as a Licensed Notary Public / Mobile Signing Agent in Los Angeles. We serve real estate closings, legal documents, trusts, powers of attorney, and loan signings for a diverse client base. This is a contract-based role with flexible hours and competitive compensation.
As a frontline representative, you will travel to client sites, verify identities, witness signatures, administer oaths, and complete notarial certificates with precision and compliance. You will collaborate with title companies, escrow officers, lenders, and legal professionals to ensure timely closings.
Responsibility
- Travel to client sites to perform notarizations in a timely and professional manner.
- Verify identities, witness signatures, administer oaths, and complete notarial certificates.
- Review documents for completeness and accuracy; identify and resolve missing information.
- Seal and sign notarization certificates; manage notary journal entries and proper recordkeeping.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with California Notary Public Act and company policies.
- Coordinate with signing officers and stakeholders to ensure smooth closings and timely delivery of documents.
- Provide excellent customer service, communicate clearly, and manage scheduling with flexibility.
Qualification
- Active California Notary Public in good standing; notary bond and E&O insurance preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of notary or signing agent experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance; ability to travel within Los Angeles area.
- Strong communication and customer service skills; professional appearance and demeanor.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Familiarity with eNotary platforms and remote notarization tools where allowed; ability to adapt to digital workflows.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Background check may be required; compliance with privacy and security standards.
