BrightPath Pharmacy Solutions is seeking a Licensed Pharmacist to join our dynamic team in New York, NY. You will ensure safe, accurate medication dispensing and provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
As a pharmacist, you will collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals, counsel patients on medications and potential interactions, and support ongoing quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
Responsibility
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and verify orders for safety and efficacy.
- Counsel patients on medication use, potential side effects, interactions, and adherence strategies.
- Review medication profiles to identify potential drug interactions and therapeutic duplications.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns, ensuring efficient, compliant workflow and safety.
- Maintain complete and accurate patient records while upholding HIPAA and state privacy requirements.
- Participate in formulary management, medication therapy management, and quality assurance programs.
- Ensure proper compounding and preparation of sterile and non-sterile products in accordance with safety standards.
Qualification
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school.
- Active New York state Pharmacist license in good standing.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in community or hospital pharmacy preferred.
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills; ability to build trust with diverse patient populations.
- Proficiency with pharmacy information systems and prescription processing.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and safety protocols.
- Commitment to regulatory compliance, privacy, and high-quality patient care.
