We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide exceptional patient counseling, accurate dispensing, and collaborative care across our community pharmacy and in-office clinical programs. As a Pharmacist, you will ensure accurate prescription dispensing, perform reviews for potential drug interactions, counsel patients on proper medication use, and uphold the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance. You will also participate in clinical services such as medication therapy management and immunization programs to promote optimal health outcomes.
Responsibility
- Dispense prescriptions accurately and verify dosage, interactions, and contraindications
- Counsel patients on proper medication use, storage, and potential side effects
- Review and reconcile medication therapy to prevent adverse events
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulatory requirements and quality standards
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations and inventory management to minimize waste
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Lead staff training, mentorship, and adherence to safety protocols
- Participate in immunization, MTM, and patient outreach programs as needed
Qualification
- Active New York Pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited school
- Minimum 2 years of retail, hospital, or clinical pharmacy experience
- In-depth knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and dosage calculations
- Excellent communication, empathy, and counseling skills
- Proficiency with pharmacy information systems and e-prescribing
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient safety, ethics, and regulatory compliance
