Responsibility
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to adults and adolescents using modalities such as CBT, ACT, and DBT.
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including testing, scoring, and clinical interviews.
- Develop and implement collaborative treatment plans; coordinate care with psychiatrists, social workers, and educators.
- Document clinical notes and treatment plans in the EHR; maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust interventions, and provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Participate in case conferences, supervision, and continuing education activities to support clinical excellence.
- Contribute to program development, outcomes measurement, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited program; license to practice in California or license-eligible.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in outpatient mental health settings.
- Proficiency in evidence-based therapies (CBT, ACT, DBT) and psychological assessment techniques.
- Strong knowledge of DSM-5-TR, differential diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills; proficient with EHR systems.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred; commitment to culturally responsive care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team; crisis intervention experience a plus.
