As a Localization Translator, you will work closely with project managers, editors, and engineers to deliver high-quality, on-time translations in English to Spanish and French. You will leverage CAT tools, style guides, and terminology databases to maintain consistency and accuracy across multiple domains.

Responsibility
- Translate, edit, and proofread content from English into Spanish and French with a focus on accuracy, tone, and cultural relevance.
- Maintain and update glossaries, termbases, and style guides to ensure consistency across projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, editors, and localization engineers to plan timelines and resource needs.
- Localize content for local markets, including date/number formats and legal/compliance considerations.
- Perform QA checks, testing on localization plugins, and ensure functional accuracy in software or web content.
- Provide feedback to linguists and assist with recruitment or onboarding when needed.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing deadlines and quality metrics.
- Contribute to process improvements and best practices for localization workflows.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of professional translation/localization experience for EN→ES and EN→FR.
- Proficiency with CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados Studio, MemoQ, Across) and MTPE processes.
- Strong editing, proofreading, and terminology management skills.
- Excellent written and spoken communication in English, Spanish, and French; ability to adapt language to target audiences.
- Experience with content management systems and QA workflows; attention to quality metrics (glossary consistency, error rates).
- Strong project management abilities and the ability to handle multiple initiatives with tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of cultural nuances and localization best practices across North American and Latin American markets.
