Job description
We are seeking a results-driven Logistics Coordinator to join NexWay Global Logistics in Los Angeles. You will coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, optimize routes and carrier selections, and ensure on-time delivery. This role collaborates with warehouses, vendors, and customers to maintain accurate inventory data and exceptional service levels.

Responsibility
- Plan and coordinate end-to-end transportation for domestic and international shipments.
- Negotiate rates and service levels with carriers and freight forwarders.
- Monitor shipments through TMS/ERP systems; proactively resolve delays and exceptions.
- Collaborate with warehousing teams to optimize inventory and dock schedules.
- Maintain accurate documentation for customs, duties, and payment terms.
- Analyze data to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Support KPI reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate last-mile logistics and customer communication for timely delivery.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field.
- 2+ years of logistics or freight forwarding experience.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel; experience with TMS/ERP (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Familiarity with import/export, customs documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving mindset.
- Availability to work flexible hours as needed.
