Responsibility
- Oversee daily logistics operations, ensuring seamless warehousing, distribution, and transportation flow.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of operations staff and supervisors.
- Optimize routes, costs, and delivery schedules to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with vendors, carriers, and clients to align on expectations and resolve issues promptly.
- Implement and monitor KPIs to drive operational excellence and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Leverage logistics technology to automate and improve processes.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets and cost-saving initiatives.
- Lead continual improvement projects focused on safety, sustainability, and performance.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years’ hands-on experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Expertise in WMS/TMS platforms and logistics technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations (DOT, OSHA, etc.).
